Brian Thim, CID
Brian graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a degree in Interior Design. He started his career with the highly regarded interior design firm, Rita St. Clair Associates, practicing commercial and residential design there for over 30 years with an emphasis on space planning, custom design elements, color, and most of all client relationships. His experience has given him a strong knowledge of all types of building construction, allowing him to easily communicate and problem solve with the design team.
Brian's projects include restaurants, hotels, retirement communities, mixed-use residential, retail, education, and residential. These projects span a range of new construction, renovation, adaptive re-use, and historic preservation. Brian has a laidback demeanor with clients and colleagues. He pays attention to detail, has an appreciation for all design styles, and listens to your personal and/or project needs and assesses and treats each with the individuality it deserves. Brian is a Certified Interior Designer (CID) in the state of Maryland and a licensed Interior Designer in Washington, DC. He has numerous articles and projects published in media outlets. |
